Boys and Girls Club of Laredo is suspending basketball league action until further notice. In an extraordinary measure of precaution, the Club will halt all basketball games for the second through sixth-grade basketball league until further notice. Boys and Girls Club of Laredo’s plan is to finish the final two days of the regular season, playoffs, and championship games at a time when it is a more conducive atmosphere for games.
Our commitment to keeping the young people we serve safe is always our number one priority. Following the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, it’s important that you know that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Laredo is doing everything possible to keep your child, our staff, and all of the volunteers protected from its spread. We are also closely
monitoring reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local health department for all updated information.
“The prudent course of action at this time is to temporarily suspend the second through sixth-grade basketball league. It is our plan to finish the final two days of the regular season, playoffs and championship games at a time when it’s a more conducive atmosphere for games.
